We
are specialized to put your English web sites into Chinese version in
the internet!
Bamboo
Services was established
is early 1995 in the United States and registered in China in late 1995.
Its initial goal was to provide multi-languange service in intercultural
exchange and international trading.The
idea of web site construction started from the time when the initiator
Bamboo Chen observed a librarian Jenny Judd sending an e-mail
on the computer through the Internet to Germany in Burnt Hills School
library.
Then at a
superball party in Clifton Park, Bamboo met Dave Ross. They
had a good talk and Dave had a better understanding of economic
development in China at that time. Bussiness opportunities could found
everywhere in China. While the Internet then could just serve as a kind
of coommunication method, Bamboo and Dave foreseed the prospect of its
future. Bamboo thought of setting up a web site to provide some sort
of information service, which led to the establishment of Bamboo
Services.

Bamboo Services
mainly provides the services like computer (and appliance) selling,
repairing, training, assembling, word processing, translation, interpreting,
consultation, web page designing, information, and so on.
The President of Bamboo Services is Shangjian Chen, a Chinese citizen
from Qinzhou City in Southern China. Because of his reputation for
assisting others he was given the honorific nickname Bamboo. He graduated
in 1985 from Guangxi Teachers University. For the last ten years he
has taught English to High School seniors who are preparing for the
exam necessary for entrance to the University system. He also teaches
in colleges. He speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese. His
second foreign language is German. Selected as the top teacher in
his province of Guangxi, Bamboo spent months in the U.S. (1994-5)
as an American Field Service exchange teacher working in several school
districts in Upstate New York.
Over the years many of Bamboo's English speaking students have gone
on to various Universities, graduated and have taken positions throughout
China, and other countries. A core group of these former students
form a network of domestic and abroad contacts. These are all highly
motivated young people who work as managers, college professors, computer
experts and government employees. From Shenzhen City (opposite Hong
Kong) to Beijing to Shanghai, and from foreign countries such as U.S.A,
Canada, Australia, The UK, New Zealand, to other European countries,
Bamboo can rely on these highly placed individuals to assist him in
research, making contacts and cutting red tape (guanshi).
What We Achieved?
In addition to his teaching position, Bamboo engages in several other
activities that make use of his unique talents. As a member of the
Political Consultant Conference, he is involved with introducing businesses
to the provincial and local governments. He is intimately familiar
with the paper work and procedures the government requires for domestic,
foreign and joint venture businesses. For the last ten years Bamboo
has offered his services to foreign and local businesses, translating
legal documents and contracts. He now serves as president of Bamboo
Services with two locations in China. Through a network of Chinese
and newly developed American contacts, Shang Jian has expanded Bamboo
Services to facilitate the introduction of U.S. entrepreneurs, investors
and companies to the Chinese Market and potential joint venture partners.
